CAES alumni named on UGA Alumni Association’s 2021 Bulldog 100

With ventures ranging from agricultural tourism to investment brokerage, 14 entrepreneurial alumni from the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES) were named to the University of Georgia Alumni Association’s 2021 Bulldog 100, a list of the 100 fastest-growing businesses owned or operated by UGA alumni.

Each year, the UGA Alumni Association partners with the Atlanta office of Warren Averett CPAs and Advisors to review nominated businesses’ financial records to determine the ranked list.

“Bulldog 100 honorees truly embody the best that UGA has to offer. We are proud that these CAES graduate-owned businesses represent a variety of industries that have a positive impact on the economies of their communities, the state and the world.” —Suzanne Griffeth, CAES director of alumni relations

This year’s list does not reflect the effects of the coronavirus pandemic on businesses. Each year, Bulldog 100 applicants are measured by their business’ compounded annual growth rate during a three-year period. The 2021 Bulldog 100 list is based on submitted financial information for 2017-19. The Atlanta office of Warren Averett CPAs and Advisors, a Bulldog 100 partner since the program began in 2009, verified the information submitted by each company.
